Our swimmers range in age from Pre-Team (typically under 8 years old) to 18.  Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted in order to be on the team.

The Boulder Barracudas emphasize a balance of fun and competition, knowing that striking this balance is different for each swimmer and family.  Swimmers have the opportunity to participate in a number of events throughout the summer that serve to bond them together as a team, such as visits to Water World, a team potluck and talent show, age group parties, and an End of Season Party.  Younger swimmers have older "Buddies" that provide encouragement and support during practice and meets.   The younger buddies' duties are to cheer for their older buddies!
